02Atelier
Urtisan sits where a design office and a fabrication floor usually don’t: in the same building. Parametric modelling, five-axis machining, metalwork and hand finishing run under one roof, which means a detail can be tested, cut and corrected in an afternoon rather than a procurement cycle.
We work with architects, developers and private clients on pieces that carry a building’s character: screens, ceilings, casework, facades and furniture in certified tropical hardwood, brass, steel and composite.

03Capabilities
Rhino and Grasshopper modelling for geometry that could not be drawn by hand, resolved to the tolerance it will be built at.
Compound curves and undercuts machined in a single setup, holding millimetre accuracy across full-length hardwood stock.
Inlay, perforation and joinery cut clean in hardwood, brass, steel and composite: no tear-out, no secondary finishing.
In-house welding, forming and patination. Structural steel and architectural brass detailed to the same standard as the joinery.
FSC-certified tropical species selected at the mill, air-dried and kiln-stabilised for the climate the piece will live in.
Oil, wax, lacquer and patina applied by hand over machined surfaces. The tolerance is digital; the last pass never is.
04Services
Commissions typically run from a single considered piece to a complete interior programme, delivered turnkey.
Bespoke millwork, screens, ceilings and facades. Engineered as building fabric, detailed as furniture.
Immersive environments and museum-grade casework, from concept through to the final install lighting pass.
End-to-end interior and exterior programmes for hospitality, retail and workplace at scale.
Our own crews on site. Setting out, fitting and snagging handled by the people who built the work.
One-off and limited-edition pieces developed with architects, designers and private collectors.
Early-stage input on material, finish and buildability, so the drawing survives contact with the workshop.
05The Makers
A small leadership team and roughly fifty craftsmen and technicians, most of whom have been with the workshop for years.

Lead Fabricator, Co-founder
Fifteen years in architectural fabrication, and the one who decides when a piece is finished.

Master Fabricator
Runs the machines and the bench. Holds the tolerance that everything downstream depends on.

Lead Installer
Takes the work from the workshop floor to the building, and answers for it on site.
